Disabled by the sea, diversity is in the blue

Castellammare del Golfo, the capital of disability for a new weekend. The Municipality in the province of Trapani has organized, in collaboration with Rai per il Sociale, the Coast Guard and Fipsas, an extraordinary freediving course for the disabled, blind, with Stefano Makula, multiple world champion. In the name of yoga and sport also the activities with Gioacchino Migliore and Gabriele Pizzo of ‘Sup around Sicily’. And it is with the two of them that over 50 disabled people have interacted since the middle of May. “Uniqueness and sensitivity, these are the watchwords of what we have organized in Castellammare del Golfo – explains Mayor Nicolò Rizzo – and we will propose the initiative again in the future, it was a success”.
