Livorno Paralympic sports capital with ‘Amazing’ from 15 to 17 September

Three days entirely dedicated to Paralympic sports where the protagonists will be athletes, technology, solutions and attractiveness. Livorno will be transformed into the capital of integrated sports from 15 to 17 September, with the “Strabilianti” event, promoted by the Extraordinary Committee, with the patronage of the Municipality of Livorno, the Provincial School Office, the Livorno Police Headquarters and with the collaboration of Caponi Foundation. All events will be hosted, with free admission, both in the creative hangars (former Atl depot in Via Carlo Mayer) and at Campo Magnozzi. In the Hangars the main events will be: the inauguration of the three days, the presentations, the stories, the photographic exhibition “Sportivi Strabilianti” by Augusto Bizzi, the musical moments performed by the Banda Città di Livorno and the Fanfare of the Naval Academy. The Magnozzi alle Sorgenti stadium will host the Strabilianti a 7 soccer tournament, with the collaboration of ProLivorno Sorgenti. Over one hundred players ready to take the field. I myself am part of the Paralympic National Team of Sitting Volleyball, and on the occasion of the inauguration together with our coach we will be present to tell our experience and for those who wish to simulate a small game to start the event “. Among the big events, it will be a special evening was organized on Friday 16 September, in memory of Carlo Azeglio Ciampi six years after his death, with the awarding of young athletes who have distinguished themselves in the sports and social fields. In addition, the first edition of the scholarship called “An open mind” will be presented, in memory of the late President, established by the Ciampi family and the Amazing Committee. For this first edition the recognition will be awarded to the Olympic athlete Aldo Montano, an institutional parchment for sporting merit.
