Vezzali in Malagò, “reform of sports work resulting from involvement of all components, including the Coni”

“I am truly amazed by the statements of President Malagò to the point that I believe he is not adequately informed. The reform is the result of the total involvement of all sports components, including the Coni, as well as sharing with the political parties, and thanks to this common effort we have avoided that the decree on sports work, as originally conceived, would bring from 1 January 2023 the world of sport “. This was stated by Undersecretary with responsibility for Sport, Valentina Vezzali, regarding the statements made by the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò, at the end of the Board held today on the reform of sports work.” For it is profoundly wrong for us not to listen to those who represent the world of sport. We disown the method, the advantage of doing this job without asking us. If you have never been president of an ASD, why do you write a law without knowing the impact on the field of the problem? ” , Malagò underlined on the latest news of the decree approved in recent weeks by the Council of Ministers. “We managed to balance the needs of workers with those of employers. Coni has been involved in all this since the start of the public consultation procedure for all stakeholders in the world of sport, of which it was directly informed and on 13 October 2021 it participated with its representatives, also sending a note written with his proposals, followed by a second written note, which we kept in mind in the elaboration of the corrective decree on sports work. The public consultation was attended, among others, by national sports federations, associated sports disciplines and sports promotion bodies, as the presidents themselves can confirm ”, added Vezzali.
