The final of the 4×100 men relay at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is back to talk, ending with the gold of the blue quartet composed of Lorenzo Patta, Fausto Desalu, Filippo Tortu and the 100-meter Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs. The first relay runner of Great Britain, Chijindu Ujah, is under investigation for a possible violation of the anti-doping rules which, if confirmed, could lead to a disqualification and the cancellation of the silver for the British team beaten for a single cent by the blues. Athletics Integrity Unity revealed an abnormal amount of ostarine, an anabolic agent, in Ujah’s doping test at the end of the relay. Ujah has been suspended as a precaution and can now ask for counter-analysis.
