In the evocative setting of the Stadio dei Marmi, in Rome, the WEmbrace Games took place, a charity event organized by the non-profit art4sport, an association born from the intuition of Bebe Vio and his family, of which Intesa Sanpaolo is a sponsor. And she was the Paralympic athlete and the face of reference of Italian sport, who explained this year’s format, focused on the themes of inclusion and diversity, intended as a tool for collective growth. The teams that took part in the event were made up equally of sports and entertainment personalities, professional athletes and boys and girls with prostheses, thus giving life to an evening with a high emotional and playful content. An event now capable of attracting great media attention and which allows to raise public awareness on issues of social interest and with a strong impact on the well-being of our communities. A vision also summed up in the words of Teresa Grandis, president of art4sport, who invites us to change the paradigm of diversity, transforming it into a shared resource: “They are called WEmbrace Games, because it is a crasis. “We embrace”, because we want everyone to feel part of the movement, which is a movement based on differences. The difference has an important value: it is inclusive and must become a strength, not a weakness.
