Doncic, record contract with Dallas: 207 million in 5 years

Record contract for Luka Doncic. The 22-year-old Slovenian will sign a new $ 207 million five-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, his agent Bill Duffy announced to Espn. Doncic, who returned to Slovenia after finishing fourth with the national team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, was joined at home by a delegation from the Mavs led by owner Mark Cuban. Doncic is expected to sign the contract on Tuesday and hold a press conference. “A dream comes true,” the player told Espn. Doncic was rookie of the year in 2018-2019 and in the last two seasons he has been included in the first NBA quintet: this result allows him to sign a contract that reaches a total of 207 million.
