Happy ending for Stefano Pioli. Milan, which won the 19th Scudetto in its history, received the medal, which had been stolen from the Rossoneri coach in the party that erupted at Mapei Stadium after the triple whistle. The medal, which was found in recent days, was handed over to Milan today by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Reggio Emilia. After the triple whistle at the Mapei Stadium, Milan players and fans did not hide the excitement for a championship that had been missing for eleven years. The Rossoneri fans invaded the pitch and there was the theft of the medal against Stefano Pioli, who immediately reported the incident. In an Instagram story, then, a boy published the images of the medal complete with the words “Thanks Pioli”. Lega Serie A also took to the field, communicating to the Rossoneri coach that he would receive another one. On Monday, three boys handed over the medal found on the field to the Carabinieri of Reggio Emilia. In particular, according to what was declared, the young people – between 20 and 25 years old – would have found the medal on the turf of the stadium, right near the entrance to the changing rooms. On Wednesday, the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Reggio Emilia handed the medal back to AC Milan.
