Tokyo 2020, bottom swimming: Bruni closes 14th

The blue Rachele Bruni closes only in 14th place the 10 km of women’s cross-country swimming at the Tokyo 2020 Games. The Brazilian Ana Marcela Cunha won the gold medal in the waters of the Odaiba Marine Park. Silver to the Dutch van Rouwendaal Sharon and bronze to the Australian Kareena Lee. The Brazilian Cunha, five times world champion, won a final sprint with a time of 1h59.30 ahead of the Dutch Olympic and European champion from two editions Sharon van Rouwendal, silver in 1h59.31 and the Australian Kareena Lee , bronze in 1h59.32. The blue Bruni, registered for Fiamme Oro and Aurelia Nuoto, Olympic silver medalist in Rio de Janeiro, world and European bronze in charge, closed in 2h02.10. “I’m really sorry for this result, I suffered immediately, I tried to stay in the first group, but when they made the final tear I didn’t make it.
