Antonio Rossi hospitalized for heart attack, stable conditions

The multiple Olympic champion, now Undersecretary for Sport in Lombardy, accused the illness during an amateur marathon Great fear but a narrow escape for the under-secretary with responsibility for Sport of the Lombardy Region, Antonio Rossi, multiple Olympic champion, hospitalized at Sant’Anna hospital in Como after having a heart attack. Rossi, 52 years old, had suffered an illness last Sunday while he was participating in an amateur marathon in Conegliano (Treviso) and after being hospitalized at the local hospital he was transferred to Como. The former champion’s conditions are stable and he should be discharged by the weekend.
