The total elevation gain is 1030 meters. Nova Eroica is a cycling race for gravel, cyclocross and road bikes with a carbon, steel, titanium and aluminum frame. Bicycles must have handlebars with racing folds. On Sunday 18th July there is Nova Eroica Family, cycle excursion on dirt roads for all families; therefore an event designed also for the little ones who will be able to make their own Heroic experience. It will be possible to participate with road, cyclocross, gravel and hybrid leisure bikes with carbon, steel, titanium and aluminum frames. Electric bicycles will be allowed. There are two routes available; respectively 27 and 14 kilometers. The shortest route goes from Buonconvento, in the locality of Piana, to Bibbiano on the dirt road and back on the asphalted road. The longest route includes the passage through Monteroni d’Arbia.
