Whistles at Wembley for Mameli’s anthem before Italy-England, Euro 2020 final. The performance of Fratelli d’Italia is accompanied by loud whistles from the stands, occupied by the vast majority of English fans. The appeal by England coach Gareth Southgate, who had invited supporters to whistle the Italy anthem, was therefore useless.
