Italy-Spain, Lineker pricks: “What a bolt”

Gary Lineker teases Italy after Chiesa’s goal against Spain. “Italy scores first with a splendid conclusion from Chiesa. Catenaccio punctual”, writes the former English striker, now a TV commentator on Twitter, immediately after the goal of the momentary advantage of the Azzurri. Lineker’s release did not fail to fuel the controversy on social media, with the account submerged in messages from disagreeing users, mostly Italians. At the end of the match, the former striker comments on the Azzurri’s victory on penalties: “I really enjoyed this match. Great effort on both sides. Neither team deserved to lose.” Read also
