Sampdoria changes coach, D’Aversa sacked

Sampdoria has formalized the exoneration of Roberto D’Aversa from the position of manager in charge of the first team. “Thanks go to the coach and the members of his staff for the seriousness and professionalism shown during the period of work in the club”, writes the Sampdoria club in a note. Sampdoria, defeated on Saturday 2-1 at home against Turin, is currently 15th in the standings with 20 points resulting from 5 wins, as many draws and 12 defeats.
