Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos away after 16 years

Sergio Ramos leaves Real Madrid after 16 years. The club has announced the departure of the 35-year-old central defender, free to look for a new team given the contract expiring on 30 June. Tomorrow Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will pay tribute to Ramos with a special greeting. According to the daily Marca, Real Madrid has offered Ramos an annual contract with a reduced salary of 10%. The player, however, would have refused the proposal, asking for a two-year contract that was not granted.
