Ballon d’Or 2021 in Lewandowski, Marca leads the table

The 2021 Ballon d’Or was won by Robert Lewandowski, at least according to the Spanish newspaper Marca which published the final ranking of the award after last week’s votes by journalists, captains and national team coaches. The Polish forward of Bayern Munich would have prevailed on Leo Messi, second, and Karim Benzema, third. Fourth the Egyptian of Liverpool Momo Salah and only fifth the blue Jorginho, who was not enough victories in the European Championship with Italy and in the Champions League with Chelsea. Sixth Mbappè, eighth Haaland and only ninth Cristiano Ronaldo, 19th Neymar. Eleventh Gianluigi Donnarumma and 13th Giorgio Chiellini.
