Covid today Sicily, 291 new infections: bulletin 23 October

There are 291 new infections from Coronavirus today 23 October in Sicily, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 6 deaths have been recorded, of which two date back to yesterday and another three to the previous days. Since yesterday 4,691 molecular and 7,468 rapid swabs have been processed. In the last 24 hours, 439 people have recovered. The intensive care units employed on the island are 42, two less than yesterday. Among the provinces with the highest number of new cases Messina at 91 Catania at 79, Palermo at 68, 15 in both Trapani and Agrigento, 9 in Caltanissetta, 7 in Ragusa and 5 in Syracuse.
