Yet another eruption on Etna. A lava fountain is present from 10.30 am from the South-East crater from where an eruptive cloud emerges which, according to the estimates of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology-Etna Observatory (Ingv-Oe) of Catania, disperses towards the East. The tremor recorded in the internal magmatic ducts of the volcanic building is at high levels with the ‘centroid’ of the springs located near the South-East crater at an elevation of about 3,000 meters above sea level. Infrasonic activity shows an increase in the number and magnitude of events. The current eruptive phase, at the moment, has no impact on the activity of the Vincenzo Bellini international airport of Catania is operational.
