Modena, Nas seizes 20 tons of meat

Over 20 tons of pork in poor condition were seized by the Carabinieri of the Nas of Parma during control services carried out in the production and trade of food products. Frozen pork legs, intended for the production of raw hams, in violation of the general principles of hygiene and food safety, had been left on the floor of the plant, which was in poor condition, with widespread dirt, traces of rust, animal blood and residues of the washing of workshop equipment.
