Cancer, fewer people die in Italy than the European average: the report

In Italy people die of cancer less than the European average (-13% in men and -10% in women). In our country, in 2021, deaths from cancers are decreasing and survival is improving. This is what emerges from the 11th report ‘Cancer numbers in Italy in 2021’ presented in Rome at the Higher Institute of Health. The covid pandemic weighs on cancer care.
