Rain on weekend 23-24 October, bad weather moves from north to south

The rain arrives on Italy, starting from the North, and on the weekend between Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October it will move south. Andrea Garbinato, editor of the website www.iLMeteo.it warns that by the evening of today the rains will mainly affect the Alpine and Pre-Alpine sectors, occasionally and in any case weakly the Po Valley. Only in Liguria and Friuli Venezia Giulia could phenomena be even moderate. In the rest of the regions the weather will be drier and mostly sunny, except for light rains in Lazio. From Friday 22 October the disturbance will begin to move towards the south, affecting Marche, Umbria, Lazio again, Tuscany, but then also Campania. It will also rain in Sicily. Over the weekend while the high pressure will return to take over much of Northern Italy, on Saturday the most unstable weather will affect the central Adriatic regions and locally Emilia Romagna, while Sunday showers will mainly hit the South, especially southern Puglia and then Calabria and Sicily again (Sunday). In this context, temperatures will not undergo substantial variations, except for a temporary and even significant diurnal rise in Sardinia (with more than 25 ° C), in Puglia and Campania. Over the weekend, a new significant temperature drop in night values ​​is expected, at least in the North. From Monday 25 a Mediterranean cyclone will cause an intense phase of bad weather on Sicily and Calabria. WEEKEND FORECASTS Thursday 21. In the north: overcast skies, rains on central-eastern Liguria and on the alpine sectors, scarce in the plains. Middle: weak rains in Lazio, drier elsewhere. In the south: light rains in Campania, sunny elsewhere. Friday 22. In the north: many clouds in the Northeast, sunny elsewhere. In the center: unstable with showers on Marche, Umbria, Tuscany and some areas of Lazio, local also in Sardinia. In the South: unstable over Campania and Sicily. Saturday 23. In the North: sunny, but many clouds in Emilia Romagna (isolated drizzle). In the center: sometimes unstable on the Adriatic. In the south: dry, but in the late evening it worsens strongly on the Ionian sectors. From Sunday evening an intense phase of bad weather will begin in the South.
