Covid Lombardy, today 1,557 infections: May 6 bulletin

There are 1,557 new coronavirus infections in Lombardy according to data from today’s bulletin, May 6. Another 32 deaths are recorded, bringing the total deaths in the region to 33,046 since the start of the covid-19 pandemic. Since yesterday 50,251 swabs have been processed, the positivity index is 3%. Intensive care patients are down by 6 units compared to yesterday and are 519 in all, while patients in the non-critical area are 3,188 (-75). The discharged / healed are in all 731,260 (+2,420). These are the new cases by province: Milan: 369 (of which 160 in Milan city); Bergamo: 85; Brescia: 223; Como: 140; Cremona: 48; Lecco: 43; Praise: 26; Mantua: 119; Monza and Brianza: 138; Pavia: 106; Sondrio: 4; Varese: 227.
