Covid Italy, data and infections: bulletin 18 October

There are 1,597 new coronavirus infections today 18 October 2021 in Italy, according to data from the latest Covid-19 bulletin from the Civil Protection and Ministry of Health. There are another 44 deaths. New cases were identified on 219,878 swabs, the positivity rate is 0.72%. There are 358 patients admitted to intensive care, +9 since yesterday. The people hospitalized with symptoms are 2,428 (+42). There are 2,756 healed in the last 24 hours.
