With a threatening message he ordered her to pay 2 Bitcoins (equal to about 38 thousand euros) to “keep silence” on the modeling activity that the girl carried out on an erotic site. A 37-year-old resident of Trieste was denounced on the loose by the Gorizia Postal Police, accused of an attempted extortion against a woman who, with determination, denounced the fact, not letting herself be intimidated by cyber-blackmail. The investigative activity, coordinated by the Deputy Prosecutor of Gorizia Paolo Ancora, made it possible to identify the suspect’s home, which was subjected to a search of the computer systems. The investigators were thus able to reconstruct the computer traces that confirmed the evidence against the man, among which the profile used to forward the extortion message stands out, but also the Bitcoin wallet / wallet with which he would have collected the money, hiding his own identity.
