The other regions, plus the province of Bolzano, are yellow, the level of risk moderate, one step higher than green in the Ecdc classification, which is based on notifications of positive cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, combined with the percentage of positive tests on the total of tests carried out, without taking into account the vaccination rate. Other large EU countries such as France, Spain and Poland also have large portions of green territory. In dark red, the maximum risk, remains the whole of Slovenia, in strong contrast with the neighboring Friuli (green), the three Baltic States, all of Romania, two regions of Greece, the eastern two thirds of Slovakia and an eastern province of Bulgaria.
