Covid Fvg, today 76 infections and 2 deaths: May 29th bulletin

There are 76 new coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to the table of the bulletin of today 29 May. Also recorded 2 other deaths. Today, 65 new infections have been detected on 5,241 molecular swabs, for a positive percentage of 1.24%. There are also 2,427 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 11 cases were detected, for a positive percentage of 0.45%. And there is a death, to which another previous one is added. The admissions in intensive care units drop to 5 and those in other departments also drop to 38, according to what is communicated by the vice-governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The total deaths amounted to 3,787. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 106,964 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 21,190 in Trieste, 50,624 in Udine, 20,932 in Pordenone, 13,020 in Gorizia and 1,198 from outside the region. In the detail of today’s data on Covid-19 in Friuli Venezia Giulia in the sector of residences for the elderly, no cases of positivity were detected among the people housed in the regional structures and not even among the health personnel within them. As regards the regional health system, no infections have been recorded. Even with regard to returns from abroad, no positivity has been detected; the situation inside a structure hosting a community of immigrants where there has been a significant presence of infections that has already led to significant quarantine measures remains under close observation – the vice president communicates.
