Carla Fracci, the last farewell in the church of San Marco in Milan

Carla Fracci, beloved in the world of dance and in the city of Milan, where she was born, lived with shoes on her feet. And today his whole world, his family, the dancers of La Scala, the superintendent of the theater Dominique Meyer and the mayor Sala, together with the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Dario Franceschini, with friends and common people, gathered in the Church of San Marco , in Brera, to give the last farewell to Italy’s most beloved étoile, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 84. The space adjacent to the church began to fill up already before 2 pm with about a hundred people who did not want to miss the appointment. Among the many present at the funeral also the étoile Eleonora Abbagnato and Roberto Bolle who joined the pain of their son Francesco and husband Beppe Menegatti, together with the grandchildren of the dancer. The coffin, entirely covered with flowers and white roses, was greeted by a roar of applause among those present.
