Rome, collision between steering wheel and tram: two wounded officers

Accident between an ‘8’ tram and a police car in Rome on the Gianicolense ring road. The local police patrols of the XII Monteverde group intervened on the spot. The two agents were both transported in red code to the San Camillo hospital. The tram driver, a 40-year-old woman, in a state of shock, was rescued on the spot and then transported to the San Carlo di Nancy hospital for medical checks. No tram passengers were injured. The White Helmets patrols are still engaged in investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
