Covid Sicily, today 418 infections and 9 deaths: 28 May bulletin

There are 418 new Coronavirus infections in Sicily, according to the table of today’s bulletin, May 28. There are also 9 other deaths, which bring the total deaths on the island since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,807. The discharged / healed in the region are currently 208,396 (+1,134) and the current positive 10,615 (-725). A total of 19,386 swabs were processed. Of the current positives, 512 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 73 patients are in intensive care. This is the breakdown of the new cases on a provincial basis: 72 in Palermo, 168 in Catania, 51 in Messina, 20 in Ragusa, 23 in Trapani, 25 in Syracuse, 11 in Caltanissetta, 41 in Agrigento and 7 in Enna.
