This was announced in a note by the Asti prosecutor Vicenzo Paone. At the end of the investigations, carried out with the help of the Carabinieri Company Command of Alba and the medico-legal and ballistic consultants, a notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations was issued against the surviving robber, Alessandro Modica and the jeweler. Alessandro Modica, the prosecutor always let it be known, is accused of aggravated robbery, a crime for which he is confessed and is currently in custody in prison. It also emerged, explains the Asti prosecutor, that the jeweler does not have a firearm license and therefore the fact of having brought the firearm, legitimately held in the jewelery shop, outside the same, also leads to the accusation of abusive port. of arms. As for the position of Giuseppe Modica, father of the surviving robber, the dismissal of the accusation of aiding and abetting was requested, since no proof was obtained that he favored the escape of his son after the robbery.
