The first exit polls were greeted with applause by the staff of the candidate for mayor of the capital Roberto Gualltieri, gathered at the headquarters of the electoral committee set up in via del Portonaccio. Gualtieri, who reached the closing of the polls around 15, is in the lead with a result between 26 and 30%, followed by the center-right candidate Enrico Michetti between 24 and 28%.
