Rome, fire in the Pineta di Ostia

The firefighters are at work in quadrant B of the Pineta di Ostia, between via del Lido di Castel Porziano and via Cristoforo Colombo, due to a fire possibly caused by a cigarette butt thrown from a car. No one was involved but the smoke released by the combustion inside the Mediterranean scrub is causing inconvenience to traffic throughout the area. On the spot the teams of Ostia and Tuscolano, the Eli-Drago 140 and the helicopter rescue of the Lazio Region as well as the agents of the Local Police.
