Cosenza kills his mother with 30 stab wounds: arrested

A 36-year-old man stabbed his 65-year-old mother to death after a fight. The murder took place in Castrovillari, in the province of Cosenza. The man violently stabbed about 30 stabs at his mother, who tried in vain to defend herself. The investigations are in the hands of the carabinieri but the 36-year-old, who has mental problems and who hit his mother with a kitchen knife, has already confessed. The carabinieri would have been warned by the boy’s father and the victim’s husband, who was transported to the hospital after being struck by an illness. The perpetrator of the crime is currently undergoing tests to assess his mental condition.
