Mafia, maxi blitz in Sicily in search of Messina Denaro

Maxi blitz in Sicily in search of the fugitive boss Matteo Messina Denaro. The Trapani Police, with the Central Operations Service of the Central Anti-Crime Directorate, is carrying out dozens of searches in the Belice Valley, on the orders of the Palermo Anti-Mafia District Directorate. The judicial police activity is aimed at people suspected of being supporters of the fugitive, for criminal past and for their proximity or contiguity to the mafia families of Trapani and Agrigento. I sift through the towns of Castelvetrano, Campobello di Mazara, Santa Ninfa, Partanna, Mazara del Vallo, Santa Margherita Belice and Roccamena (Palermo).
