State-Mafia negotiation, appeal process: Dell’Utri for the first time in court

Surprisingly, the former Senator Marcello Dell’Utri, accused of threatening a body politic of the State, appeared for the first time in the courtroom, at the appeal process for the State-Mafia negotiation. Today the Pg Carlo Barbiera and Giuseppe Fici will begin the indictment of the hearing chaired by Angelo Pellino. In the first instance Dell’Utri had been sentenced to twelve years in prison. The former Publitalia manager, definitively convicted for external competition in the mafia association by the Palermo judges, finished his sentence in 2019.
