Pope: “Today too there is slavery”

“Even today there is slavery”. Pope Francis strongly emphasizes this during the general audience in the Paul VI Hall where he met groups of pilgrims and faithful from Italy and from all over the world. “The new slaves – highlights the Pontiff – are those who are on the outskirts, who are exploited by everyone. Even today there is slavery, let’s think about it. These people are denied human dignity: they are slaves”.
