Moments of tension in Rome last night during the anti-gathering checks of the Local Police of the Capital. He criticizes the situation in Piazza di Santa Caterina della Rota, where about 300 young people gathered, with lots of music in tow and in disregard of the rules for the protection of public health. Upon arrival of the patrols, a throwing of objects and a paper bomb at the agents began, who intervened to restore safety conditions. To bring the situation back to calm it was necessary to temporarily isolate the area. Investigations are underway to trace those responsible. Other closures, due to overcrowding, took place in Piazza Bologna, San Lorenzo, Piazza dell’Immacolata and Largo degli Osci. In Piazza San Calisto, during the checks, two boys, invited to wear a mask, turned against the agents and one of these, a 20-year-old Italian, was denounced for resistance and insult to a public official.
