Acireale, carabiniere tries to quell dispute: seriously injured

A carabiniere was seriously injured in Acireale, in the province of Catania, while trying to quell a dispute. Outside the church of S. Maria degli Ammalati in the hamlet of Guardia Manfano, Deputy Brigadier Sebastiano Giovanni Grasso, 43, effective at the Aci Sant’Antonio (Ct) station, free from duty, was seriously injured in the neck by a blow of a pistol exploded by a 69-year-old who was arguing with some family members.
