‘Ndrangheta, partial grace to Ambrogio Crespi: “This is the justice I believe in”

Ambrogio Crespi, who yesterday received partial pardon from the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, tells Adnkronos. “This is the justice in which I have always believed and which today I have taken part in,” adds the director. Crespi had been sentenced to six years in prison for complicity in mafia-type association, for acts committed between 2010 and 2012, for who was ordered a reduction of the sentence of one year and two months. The director who served a total of 306 days in prison, “200 days in 2012 – he explained – and 106 days in the maximum security prison” of Opera in Milan , was released from prison last June. ” It was not easy to give me pardon – underlines Crespi – even if I have always maintained my innocence and I will follow all possible ways to prove it, even trying to reopen the process, because as everyone knows I am an innocent man. ”
