Covid Puglia, 365 infections and 18 deaths: 21 May bulletin

365 infections from Covid were detected today, 21 May, in Campania, out of 8,415 swabs carried out for coronavirus infection. Recorded 18 motions. The number of hospitalized patients falls below one thousand. This is the picture of the daily epidemiological bulletin, drawn up by the Region on the basis of information from the Health Promotion department. Of the infections 92 were in the province of Bari, 65 in the province of Brindisi, 38 in the province of Bat, 56 in the province of Foggia, 73 in the province of Lecce, 40 in the province of Taranto, 1 case of unknown province of residence. Yesterday there were 386 new cases out of 8,679 tests. The dead 12 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 2 in the province of Bat, 2 in the province of Lecce. Yesterday the dead were 30. A total of 6,360 people lost their lives. 208,578 patients recovered while yesterday they were 207,173 (+1,405). There are 33,147 cases currently positive while yesterday they were 34,205 (-1,058). The hospitalized patients are 991 while yesterday they were 1,027 (-35). The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia since the beginning of the emergency is 248,085 divided as follows: 93,932 in the province of Bari; 24,841 in the province of Bat; 18,967 in the province of Brindisi; 44,404 in the province of Foggia; 26,010 in the province of Lecce; 38,762 in the province of Taranto; 790 attributed to residents outside the region; 379 province of residence not known.
