There are 41 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venzia Giulia today, May 20, according to data from the region’s bulletin. 2 other deaths reported. On 3,543 molecular swabs 36 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 1.02%. There are also 1720 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 5 cases (0.29%) were detected. Two previous deaths, hospitalizations in intensive care units drop to 11 as well as those in other departments drop to 60, as communicated by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The deaths totaled 3,775: 809 in Trieste, 2,003 in Udine, 672 in Pordenone and 291 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 91,850, the clinical healed 5,635 and the people in isolation today drop to 5,329. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 106,660 were positive: 21,102 in Trieste, 50,542 in Udine, 20,853 in Pordenone, 12,973 in Gorizia and 1,190 from outside the region. In the sector of residences for the elderly, no cases of positivity were detected among the people housed in the regional structures or among health workers within the same structures. On the regional health system front, the Friuli Centrale university health authority (Asufc) recorded the positivity to the virus of a nurse.
