Covid Italy, 29 August bulletin

There were 5,959 new infections from Coronavirus on August 29, 2021 in Italy, according to data from the latest bulletin of the Ministry of Health. There are another 37 deaths. In the last 24 hours, 223,086 swabs were processed with a positive rate of 2.7%. The hospitalizations of 22 units are growing, bringing the total to 4,133 people in the ordinary Covid wards, while 14 intensive care units have been occupied since yesterday for a total number of 525 nationwide.
