There are 1,447 new coronavirus infections in Campania according to data from today’s bulletin, May 5. Another 38 deaths were recorded, 24 of which occurred in the last 48 hours and 14 occurred previously, but recorded yesterday. Since yesterday 21,827 molecular swabs have been processed, the positivity index is 6.62%. Of the 1,447 new positives, 417 were symptomatic or paucisymptomatic. There are 6,522 deaths in Campania since the beginning of the pandemic. The new healed are 2,393, the total healed is 304,273. In Campania there are 122 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 1,459 Covid patients hospitalized in hospital wards.
