Ricciardi: “Teacher not vaccinated and without a mask, he should be arrested”

“A teacher not vaccinated with Delta virus transmitted the infection to 55% of his students simply by speaking without a mask, he should be arrested.” So Walter Ricciardi, advisor to the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and professor of Hygiene at the Catholic University of Rome, in a post on Twitter in which he relaunches the news on the case identified in a school in California, where an unvaccinated teacher has infected his pupils reading in class without using a mask. The story caused a sensation in America and did not go unnoticed even in Italy. Among the experts, the virologist Roberto Burioni also spoke about it using terms similar to those of Ricciardi. “A teacher who refuses the vaccine should be thrown out because it is a danger to the health of his pupils but even more so because he is obviously unable to train the citizens of tomorrow and is totally inadequate to occupy the very important role he covers”, the Burioni’s words.
