Covid, a mask could ‘kill’ the virus

Covid and infections, a mask could solve the problem. The autonomous national university of Mexico has created, in fact, a prototype of a device with silver and copper, registered as SakCu, which would be able to neutralize the virus, rendering it harmless. On the silver-copper part, the other two layers are cotton, we read on the University presentation document, drops with the virus were put, taken from patients positive for Covid-19, and it was observed that, depending on of the viral concentration, if it was high, the virus disappeared by more than 80 percent in eight hours and if, on the other hand, it was low, it disappeared completely in two hours. A little more expensive than the others, the mask would however, explain the researchers, reusable up to ten times, without losing its bactericidal power. For now it has not yet been produced, but will soon be subjected to an evaluation for possible financing. The next step will, they conclude, find out which other viruses are vulnerable to the same system.
