Covid today Fvg, 204 infections and 1 death: August 27 bulletin

There are 204 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia today, 27 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. One dead recorded. In detail, 190 new cases were detected out of 6,453 molecular swabs (including 2 migrants / asylum seekers in Trieste) with a positive percentage of 2.94%. There are also 3,024 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 14 cases (0.46%) were detected. Today there is the death of a 98-year-old woman admitted to the Udine hospital who had not completed the vaccination cycle (first dose administered at the beginning of July); 11 people are hospitalized in intensive care while 40 are hospitalized in other wards. Compared to yesterday, 13 hospitalizations were made in regional hospitals (6 in Udine, 5 in Trieste and 2 in Pordenone) of people over 60 years of age, 12 of which were not vaccinated. The totally healed are 105,437, the clinically recovered 75 while the people in isolation amount to 1,108. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 110,469 infections have been recorded. As far as the regional health system is concerned, the positivity of a technician from the Giuliano Isontina university health authority was found; a veterinarian from the Friuli Centrale University Health Authority; of a nurse from the Western Friuli Health Authority and a technician from the Aviano Cancer Reference Center. With regard to residential facilities for the elderly, 2 operators were infected, in addition to those of a guest in Trieste and a guest in Gorizia.
