Three other cases of the Indian variant of Covid-19 were discovered in the last hours in Puglia, in addition to the two made official yesterday by the regional health councilor Pierluigi Lopalco and referred to Salento. The three new cases of the Indian variant were identified in particular in the Molecular Epidemiology and Public Health laboratory of the University Hospital Policlinico di Bari, regional reference center for Sars-CoV-2. They belong to another cluster identified in the province of Lecce. The samples had been sent to the regional reference laboratory by the Lecce Prevention Department a few days ago.
