Covid today Abruzzo, 11 infections: 23 August bulletin

There are 11 coronavirus infections in Abruzzo today, 23 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. Another death registered (it is a 95-year-old from the province of L’Aquila) which brings the death toll to 2,520 since the beginning of the covid-19 emergency. The number of positive cases also includes 73,550 discharged / healed (+105 compared to yesterday). 65 patients hospitalized (+4 compared to yesterday); 13 (+1 compared to yesterday with 1 new admission) in intensive care, while another 2,175 (-100 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 798 molecular swabs and 1030 antigen tests were performed, as reported by the Regional Health Department. Of the total number of positive cases, 19,777 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+12 compared to yesterday), 20131 in the province of Chieti (unchanged), 19124 in the province of Pescara (+5), 18532 in the province of Teramo (+ 4), 637 outside the region (unchanged) and 122 (-10) for which provenance checks are underway.
