Covid Basilicata, 85 infections today: May 18 bulletin

There are 85 new coronavirus infections in Basilicata according to data from today’s bulletin, May 18. There are another 3 deaths. Updating the overall data, the currently positive Lucanians are 4,732 (-55), of which 4,623 in home isolation. 19,858 people residing in Basilicata recovered from the beginning of the health emergency and 546 died. There are 109 hospitalized patients (-6): at San Carlo di Potenza 31 in the infectious disease ward, 30 in pulmonology, 3 in emergency medicine, 3 in Covid internal medicine, 5 in intensive care; at the Madonna delle Grazie hospital in Matera 23 in the infectious disease ward, 10 in pulmonology, 0 in Covid internal medicine and 4 in intensive care. There is a slight increase in the number of beds occupied in intensive care, they are 9 (+1). Since the beginning of the health emergency, 345,345 molecular swabs have been analyzed, of which 317,001 were negative, and 198,183 people were tested.
