The bonus of citizenship income, or additional benefit, can have a maximum value of € 4,680, considering that the benefit is usable within the limit of € 780 per month. , but it is necessary to comply with specific conditions, established by law and by the new decree, which also provides for the procedures for requesting and disbursing the additional benefit It is important to emphasize that this 6-month bonus cannot be combined with the bonus, already operational, equal to 2 unchanged monthly payments of the Rdc for those who set up on their own, by express legislative provision. The amount of the new Rdc bonus is reduced by the amount of the 2-month bonus already paid. Citizenship income bonus up to € 2,760 In detail, in the case of starting a business or self-employment, carried out both individually and in participation, during the provision of the Rdc, the change in the activity must be communicated to INPS within 30 days from the beginning of the same, under penalty of forfeiture of the subsidy.
The income deriving from the new activity must be identified according to the cash principle as the difference between the revenues and the remuneration received and the expenses incurred in the exercise of the activity; in order to maintain the subsidy, it must be communicated within 15 days following the end of each quarter of the year.
By way of incentive (not cumulative with the new bonus of citizenship income, equal to 6 months of subsidy), the beneficiary benefits without changes in the Rdc for the 2 months following the change in the employment condition, without prejudice to the maximum duration of the subsidy, equal to 18 months (renewable).
Basically, this already operational DRC bonus can reach a maximum of 2,760 euros, considering that the citizenship income due to a higher extent, for families with a 2.2 equivalence scale (numerous and severely disabled) with rent dependent and zero income, it can reach 1,380 euros per month.
Following the start of its own business, the subsidy is subsequently updated every 3 months, referring to the previous quarter. New bonus of citizenship income up to € 4,680 As regards the new bonus of citizenship income, or additional benefit, the incentive is granted to beneficiaries of citizenship income who start, within the first 12 months of use of the Rdc: – a self-employed activity;
– an individual business activity;
– a cooperative society. The benefit is recognized in a single solution and is equal to 6 months of the Rdc, within the limits of 780 euros per month, so it can reach a maximum of 4,680 euros. New bonus for citizenship income: requirements In addition to the conditions indicated, the beneficiaries of the new bonus must meet the following requirements, which must apply at the same time: citizenship in the course of disbursement; – must have started, within the first 12 months of use of the subsidy, an autonomous or individual business activity or have subscribed a share of the share capital of a cooperative, with a mutualistic relationship having as its object the performance of working activity by the shareholder; – they must not have completed, in the 12 months preceding the request for the bonus, an autonomous or individual business activity; – they must not have subscribed, in the same period, a share of the share capital of a cooperative, with mutualistic relationship having as its object the carrying out of work activity by the member, to exception of the amount for which the bonus is requested; – they must not belong to households benefiting from citizenship income who have already benefited from the bonus. New bonus for citizenship income: application As regards the procedures for submitting the application for the bonus for citizenship income, the decree on the matter [1] establishes that the start of the new activity must be communicated, within 30 days, using the “Com Extended” form, attached to the decree itself. The bonus does not apply if the activity was started in the months for which the citizenship income has already been used without being notified within 30 days from the start. If, on the other hand, the new activity is regularly communicated and the use of the RdC is still in progress, to benefit from the additional bonus it is necessary to make a new communication to INPS, with the new Com Extended model. INPS can verify the self-certified conditions with the Extended Com model. New bonus of citizenship income: liquidation The new Rdc bonus is paid in a single solution within the second month following that of the application: – by crediting the current account (Iban) indicated at the time of submitting the application; – alternatively, through domiciled bank transfer, in compliance with the maximum threshold established by law for cash payment. New bonus of citizenship income: revocation The new bonus of citizenship income can be canceled: if the self-employed or individual business activity, object of incentive, ceases before 12 months from the start; – in the event that the beneficiary of the bonus has sold his share of the cooperative’s share capital within 12 months of signing up; if the citizenship income is revoked or there is a hypothesis of forfeiture of the subsidy (for more information, see: Guide to citizenship income).
