November coming: sun and heat with Halloween anticyclone

What will happen under the meteorological profile in the next few days will be incredible. After Scipio, the anticyclone of Halloween will arrive with November. Never as this year has African high pressure been the absolute protagonist of the time, not only on Italy, but also on the rest of the continent. In practice, except for a few short periods, the anticyclone has always been present on the Mediterranean basin since mid-May and will not be outdone in the next few days. Antonio Sanò, director and founder of iLMeteo.it announces that after the rains, still quite strong, in the North today (especially on the Alps and Prealps), Scipione will increasingly embrace our country with more tenacity. Apart from the return of the morning fog, locally dense, on the Po Valley, we will spend days as if we were in the middle of June. On all regions the sun will prevail, the sky will be clear or only locally a little cloudy, the temperatures will record truly exceptional values ​​for the period. The temperatures will be the protagonists. In the next few days we will have some really crazy temperature anomalies; up to + 6 / + 8 ° C on almost all of Italy. This means that during the day it will easily reach 26-27 ° C from North to South, and on the two major islands these values ​​will be exceeded up to even exceeding 30-32 ° C in inland areas. These anomalies are part of the broader picture of climate change, with temperatures constantly increasing in all seasons: this is a trend that has started a few decades ago (initially slowly) and that has undergone a strong acceleration in the very last few years. And there is no good news for November; the latest elaborations of the main meteorological models leave no doubts. It will be the turn of the Halloween anticyclone: ​​a new and vast field of high pressure that will continue to protect Italy.
